Showman
Understand what Showman changes in shops and packs, what it does not guarantee, and when duplicate Jokers or consumables justify the slot.
Verdict: Keep Showman only when duplicates materially improve the build and the run still has enough shops or packs left to find them.
What Showman changes
- A card already owned can appear again in the eligible Joker and consumable pools.
- The effect expands possible outcomes; it does not raise a specific card's base appearance chance or guarantee a copy.
- Duplicate access is most valuable for effects that remain useful when stacked or for consumables the build repeatedly wants.
Slot cost
- Showman provides no direct Chips, Mult, or economy by itself.
- A short run with few shops left often cannot recover the opportunity cost of the occupied Joker slot.
- Sell it after the desired duplicate is found if another scoring or economy Joker would help more.
