Learn how Stone Joker counts Stone Cards in the full deck, when its +25 Chips scaling is efficient, and how deck conversion changes its value.

Verdict: Take it when Stone Cards are already present and the run can add more; skip it when the deck has no reliable conversion plan.

Scaling plan

  • Count every Stone Card in the full deck when estimating the bonus, not only the cards currently drawn or played.
  • Each new Stone Card permanently raises Stone Joker's chip contribution for later hands.
  • The value is easiest to judge as 25 multiplied by the current Stone Card count before considering other chip effects.

Deck-building tradeoff

  • Turning a card into Stone removes the value of using a different enhancement on that card.
  • Stone-heavy plans gain reliable Chips but should still preserve enough scoring structure to form the intended poker hand.
  • Do not over-convert solely for Stone Joker when another enhancement is central to the build.
