Superposition

Learn when Superposition creates a Tarot card, how an Ace must appear in the scoring Straight, and whether the trigger is consistent enough.

Verdict: Keep Superposition when the deck repeatedly forms Ace-high or Ace-low Straights; do not reserve a slot for an occasional accidental trigger.

Trigger requirements

  • The evaluated poker hand must be a Straight and the scoring Straight must contain an Ace.
  • Ace can participate at the high end of Ten-Jack-Queen-King-Ace or the low end of Ace-Two-Three-Four-Five.
  • Playing an unrelated Ace beside a different Straight does not satisfy the condition.

Making the trigger repeatable

  • Deck thinning and rank conversion can increase the chance of assembling the same Ace Straight repeatedly.
  • Shortcut changes allowable rank gaps and can make Straight construction more flexible.
  • Compare the random Tarot value with the Joker slot and deck work required to maintain the trigger.
