Shoot the Moon
Learn how every Queen held in hand adds +13 Mult, how to unlock Shoot the Moon, and when hand size or retriggers improve the plan.
Verdict: Use it when the deck can hold several Queens while still forming the scoring hand; one inconsistent Queen is rarely enough for a permanent slot.
Held-Queen scoring
- Each Queen still in hand contributes its own +13 Mult during the held-card scoring stage.
- A Queen used in the played hand cannot also count as held for Shoot the Moon.
- Larger hand size and more Queens in the deck increase the chance of keeping Queens beside the scoring hand.
Unlock and build cost
- Unlock Shoot the Moon by playing every Heart card in the deck within one round.
- Keeping Queens can reduce the cards available to form the played hand, so the deck needs enough consistency.
- Held-card retriggers can improve the payoff when they apply, but they require additional Joker support.
